Plastic Bags/Tanglers

Do not put plastic bags and other “tanglers” such as hoses or bungie cords, in the recycling bins.  They get caught in the machinery that the MRFs (Materials Recovery Facilities) use to sort different recyclable items.  If something gets tangled, it jams the conveyor belts and the machinery must be shut down until a worker can get it free.
