Paint recycling

Can paint be recycled? YES–depending on a few things.  If there is a considerable amount of paint in the can and it is latex paint, there is an annual collection at the Tony Kent Arena in Dennis.  Future collection dates will be announced on this site.  If there is a small amount of paint left in the can, take off the cover and let it dry.  Adding kitty litter will speed this process.  Once dry, the paint can should be put in a Household Waste bin.  However, if it is not latex paint–if it requires any solvent other than water to clean up–it should be taken to the next Hazardous Waste Collection.
